Carmen's Canvas are inspired by the colourful and humble life styles of African and South American cultures. I invite you, by looking at my paintings, to see a part of the day to day life of my South American people. Using our imagination we could be part of these amazing ancient cultures and their wisdom.
I graduated from a year teaching training program at the Auckland Yoga Academy were I now teach and continue with my training.
I believe that a teacher of yoga should live a life of yoga to practice what is taught, and that is to engage in continuous practice and self study. My objective is to transmit yoga as fully and clearly as possible to my students. For me, the goal is not the perfection of an individual pose, but the self-knowledge gained during the journey.
